Our wedding was probably the most ambitious project of our lives, personally or professionally, and thanks to My Mendoza Wedding it was a complete success. We had 100 people fly all the way to rural Argentina from all over the globe, mostly from North America and Europe. Very few spoke Spanish. They stayed in an archipelago of eight different hotels, and all had to be shuttled to and from three different event venues and a wide variety of tourism activities (such as winery visits, whitewater rafting, and horseback riding) over the course of four extremely full days. Dolores Montero\u2019s army of service providers\u2014van drivers, musicians, decorators, bakers, sound engineers, tent and flooring rental, photographers, hair and makeup artists, etc.\u2014were all highly skilled and effective. She has encyclopedic knowledge of and personal relationships with pretty much every wedding or tourism-related business in the province, is a fierce haggler on her clients\u2019 behalf, and deftly administers everything that needs to be done logistically during wedding events, leaving newlyweds free to enjoy the experience with a minimum of stress. She is fluent in English and Portuguese, and thanks to her experience working for American companies, she comfortably meets demanding foreign clients\u2019 expectations for professionalism, scheduling and attention to detail. Dolores Montero is simply a wedding-planning angel. We are from California, and after we decided to get married abroad and take the leap in planning a wedding remotely, we found Dolores and everything came together in under 7 months. From the moment we met her on Facetime, we knew we wanted her at our wedding, no matter where in the world it was! As someone who had prior experience working in Napa Valley, Dolores had an intuition for the American cultural pieces we wanted, but also recognized we wanted to shed some of the hullabaloo of a more traditional wedding (sentiments that originally drove us toward a wedding in Argentina!) She has impeccable taste and we knew we could trust her not only with the major components, but also with the details. She connected us with very reliable vendors on the ground, and help us plan and negotiate rehearsal dinner plans and day trips to gorgeous wineries and horseback riding for our 50 guests the week of the wedding. We did not get a chance to visit the venue in person until we arrived the week of the wedding, but Dolores did the hard work (like filming the venue, revisiting time and again w\/ the venue and vendors on the ground) and stuck by her promise to have no logistical surprises the day of. Overall, Dolores was always lighthearted yet professional, a go-getter yet forever flexible and fun, and she made the whole process a relatively stress-free one! We could enumerate all the small thoughtful things Dolores did for us in preparation for the big day, and even during and after the wedding, but that would truly go on forever. Dolores is an amazing wedding and event planner, I could not have had a wedding without her! Leading up to the wedding day, she helped me with anything I asked and made wedding planning fun!! On the day before the wedding Dolores arranged a wine tasting at three wineries in Mendoza and they were perfectly selected wth a range of fancy and classic styles. Lunch was an amazing multi course meal that everyone loved. As we are from Australia, Dolores picked our wedding venue for us. It could not have been more perfect. The event matched our style perfectly and we had a classic but relaxed small wedding overlooking the winery and Andes mountains. Dolores was our wedding planning extraordinaire! She organized the best party ever, from decorations to a gorgeous feast; fireworks to a choreographed tango dance. She has good relationships with the best vendors in Mendoza and is organized, professional and most of all \u2013 FUN! We never wanted our time with her to end because it was sincerely the best time of our lives and will treasure the special day and memories forever. Tengo la suerte de conocer a Dolo desde hace muchos a\u00f1os. Cuando mi marido me pidi\u00f3 la mano y decidimos casarnos en Mendoza, pens\u00e9 inmediatamente en ella. I especially appreciated that we talked numerous times before the wedding using Skype and WhatsApp. She is highly organized, knows the Mendoza area very well, and knows what it takes to put together a great event. Our wedding and pre-wedding activities were not only flawlessly done but beautiful and fun with attention to detail that made all of us feel welcome. Because of Dolores\u2019 work, my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy spending time with our guestsand, most especially, enjoy our wedding day. Dolores does outstanding work and I highly recommend her services if you are planning a destination wedding in Argentina, particularly, Mendoza. We are from the United States and we had 23 guests at our wedding \u2013 all from the United States and all guests had never visitedArgentina. Dolores did an outstanding job of choosing and working with quality vendors (wineries, photographer, DJ, florist, make-up and hair stylists) and ensuring that the vendors understood the order of events so they could best do their jobs. Dolores also did an outstanding job of understanding our vision for the wedding, offering suggestions we hadn\u2019t considered (like having a tango show at the wedding reception), and helping us stay within our budget. Regarding the pre-wedding activities, we had a winery event with horseback riding, winery tour, tasting and a traditional Argentine asado. On another day, we had a multi-stop wine tour including a wine-paired lunch. Both events were executed flawlessly from the transportation to custom winery tours to horseback rides. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the wineryvisits and tastings. The horseback ride through the vineyard and surrounding area was a key highlight for everyone. After the engagement, Rob and I started looking for possible places to celebrate our union, since we live in Orlando Fl, we were considering doing it locally or maybe at my husband\u2019s homeland, Puerto Rico. After looking at options, I came out with the \u201ccrazy\u201d idea of doing it over my homeland, Argentina. I am originally from Buenos Aires, but since Rob loves Argentine wines, I suggested Mendoza, a place where we have never been, and a place where we heard great things about. The big challenge was to organize a wedding long distance, in a place that we knew nothing about it besides the great wines\u2026 We were very skeptical of trusting someone from so far with everything: from the organization aspect to the financial aspect. After searching different websites, I got in contact with several event planners but none of them catch my attention. Later, I came across with an article about \u201cMy Mendoza Wedding\u201d, that mentioned Dolores as a professional wedding planner. We checked on a video that was posted on her website\u2026That video displayed everything we wanted on wedding, beautiful mountains and vineyards views, exquisite taste on decoration and setting. This was it! I got in contact with Dolores, she was prompt, super friendly and professional. Dolores is an exceptional person, she undoubtedly loves what she does, and she will find what are you looking for not matter what, she will be on top of each person that she is contracting, from the florist to the driver, to make sure everything is delivered as is planned. The distances were shortened because we communicated regularly through video chat, every detail was spoken, and she will go over the planning several times to make sure everything was done right. Dolores puts her whole heart on our wedding, from the planning to the big day, she was there step by step. When we arrived to Mendoza, she passionately gave us a mini tour from the airport to the hotel. She made us fell in love with Mendoza as much as she is in love with! Dolores\u2019 wedding delivery was impeccable, everything was as we planned and even more than we imagined. Our wedding day was a dream that we never dare to dream, but we are glad we took that \u201ccrazy\u201d idea seriously and Dolores made it come true!<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
